Singer accused of violating probation

Mindy McCready, a country music singer, has been accused of violating the terms of her probation.

McCready was sentenced to three years probation in 2004 for fraudently obtaining painkillers. The sheriff's department in Pinellas County, Tennessee, confirmed this weekend that a warrant has been issued for her arrest after not reporting at all to her probation officer in July.

This would be McCready's second probation violation, making it likely that she would have to spend time in prison as a result.
