Gazza: 'Winehouse is the woman for me'

Paul Gascoigne has admitted that he fancies Amy Winehouse.

The former England footballer believes that the 'Rehab' singer is his ideal woman, reports the Daily Star.

"I fancy Amy Winehouse. She’s class. I’m going to give her a call and see what she’s up to," he said.

"Amy’s the woman for me."

The 43-year-old, who recently admitted that he sometimes wishes he had died in his car crash last month, said he was desperate to get to know the singer.

"I thought she was in rehab and I sent her a couple of cards wishing her all the luck. I love her. I’m dying to meet her."
