The actress has stated that she prefers her figure to be slim but she has no disorder, nor does she feel herself responsible for the behaviour of those who do have them.
She told OK! magazine: "If I like myself a certain way, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm responsible for anorexia across the country. I have never had any control over what anyone does, in any capacity. If I like myself at this weight, this is what I'm going to be. I don't have an eating disorder.
"I remember one magazine said: 'Courteney Cox Talks About Her Bulimia.' I didn't even say a word. They asked me a question and I said: 'I wouldn't throw up if you paid me. Why would I?'"
