Etheridge ex 'wants full custody of twins'

Melissa Etheridge's ex-partner has decided to seek full custody of their children, according to reports.

Tammy Lynn Michaels, who said that she was "sideswiped" when singer Etheridge broke up with her in April after nearly nine years together, has filed papers in an LA court asking for full legal custody of 3-year-old twins Johnnie and Miller, says TMZ.

Michaels, who gave birth to the twins after being inseminated with a sperm donor, has also applied for spousal support from Etheridge.

Since their split, Michaels has repeatedly told Etheridge to "stop telling the press it was [a] mutual" decision.
