Kruger: 'I almost ran over Sharon Stone'

Diane Kruger has admitted that she almost ran over Sharon Stone at a charity event.

The actress was attempting to demonstrate a Segway two-wheeler to potential bidders but lost control of the wheel, nearly knocking Stone off the stage, reports The Globe.

"I was wearing really high heels, was totally off balance - and I nearly killed Sharon Stone," she explained.

"I ran over the train of her dress, and she stumbled and almost fell off the stage. I could see the headlines: 'Diane Kruger kills Sharon Stone'."
