Steven Gerrard 'prefers to stay in'

Steven Gerrard reportedly likes to stay in front of the TV watching Gavin & Stacey and eating biscuits.

According to Now magazine, his wife Alex Curran explained that the couple prefer to stay in together than go out.

She said: "The best thing is when we stay in curled up on the couch with a cup of tea and some chocolate biscuits watching a DVD."

Curran added that she allows Gerrard to choose what they watch.

"Steven isn't keen on watching chick flicks with me, so we'll usually watch a comedy like Gavin & Stacey or Shameless."
