Norton appointed UN Goodwill Ambassador

The 40-year-old actor, who participated in the New York Marathon last year to raise $300,000 (£237,300.00) for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, has released in a statement his appreciation and importance of the title.
According to Perez Hilton, Norton said: "I think that ambassadors in many ways can play a role in highlighting the models of success that the UN is promoting around the world."
In May, Norton commented on his possible part in Marvel's upcoming Avengers movie.
