Michael Jackson plans to release a charity single for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, his spokeswoman announced yesterday.
Entitled 'From The Bottom Of My Heart' the single will feature other artists and will be similar in nature to 1985's 'We Are The World' which was written and produced by Jackson and raised millions for aid in Africa.
Jackson said on his official website: “It pains me to watch the human suffering taking place in the Gulf Region of my country. My heart and prayers go out to every individual who has had to endure the pain and suffering caused by this tragedy.
"I will be reaching out to others within the music industry to join me in helping to bring relief and hope to these resilient people who have lost everything.???
All proceeds from the sale of the song will go towards relief for Katrina's victims.
