Stella McCartney and Pamela Anderson have pledged their support in helping provide relief to the pets affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Many domestic animals were killed during the hurricane though others survived but have been left stranded, a situation which PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is trying to rectify.
McCartney and Anderson have offered up personal items to be auctioned at the organisation's 25th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards on September 10, the proceeds of which will go towards the charity's Animal Emergeny Fund.
