Westlife's Mark engaged to boyfriend

Less than a month after revealing his sexuality, Mark Feehily has reportedly announced his engagement to his boyfriend.

The Westlife star came out last month, also revealing that he was dating Kevin McDaid, former singer with boyband V.

He has now told New! magazine in an interview that the pair plan to enter into a civil partnership. He enthused: "I've been over the moon since coming out and fans have been supportive, so I know they'll be happy for me. What better way to celebrate this?"

Kevin seems content to let Mark be the one in the limelight and is willing to forego his own music career. He said: "I'm planning to give up my career to support Mark. There is only room for one star in our family and it has to be him."
