The Australian radio personality, who got married to pop singer Jaber less than two years ago, has blamed the pressures of work and distance on the breakdown of their relationship.
ABC has published an official statement from Sandilands's media company, which read: "Kyle Sandilands and Tamara Jaber wish to acknowledge that the past few months have been challenging due to their individual work demands which have required extended periods of time apart.
"The couple are now separated but are committed to supporting one another and endeavouring to address the difficulties. There will be no interviews and no further comment on the matter."
Jaber is currently taking part in the Australian version of Dancing With The Stars.
