Cannon joins comedy club circuit

Nick Cannon has joined the comedy circuit.

The 29-year-old television presenter, who has been married to 40-year-old singer Mariah Carey for two years, is scheduled to take part in the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal later this year.

Cannon told Us Magazine: "I'm excited to get back to my roots and my youth, taking the stage at comedy clubs across this great country."

It is rumoured that he will be performing alongside stars such as Steve Martin, Tom Arnold and Patrice O'Neal.

Cannon and Carey are rumoured to be expecting their first child together.
