Matt Damon has proposed to his girlfriend 17 months into their relationship, reports Us Weekly.
His publicist revealed to the magazine that the Bourne Identity actor proposed to Luciana Barroso "shortly before Labour Day" bearing a "beautiful big diamond ring."
Damon, whose previous belles have included Minnie Driver, Claire Danes and Winona Ryder, recently advised celebrities to date non-celebrities as such relationships tend to have a happier ending.
