Fisher: 'Underwood was stunning bride'

Mike Fisher has reportedly said that Carrie Underwood looked "stunning" at their wedding.

The couple - who became engaged just before Christmas - married at the Ritz-Carlton, Reynold's Plantation in Georgia last weekend.

According to MTV News, the NHL player told People that Underwood looked "stunning" in her custom-designed Monique Lhuillier dress.

"I was thanking God for her, for that moment," he said. "It's something I'll never forget."

Underwood added to the magazine that the nuptials had "exceeded" any hopes she had for the day, describing the event as a "big party".

The pair are currently honeymooning in Tahiti.
