Sharon: 'Kelly will get over breakup'

Sharon Osbourne has insisted that daughter Kelly will get over her recent breakup.

It was reported on Tuesday that the 25-year-old split from fiancé Luke Worrall after finding out that he had cheated on her.

However, the America's Got Talent judge comforted Kelly by ensuring her that such experiences were an unavoidable and valuable lesson on growing up.

"I said to her, 'This will be the first of many breakups,'" she told People.

"It's what we all go through. I don't know any of my girlfriends who have never had their heart broken and end up with the first guy. I don't know anyone that has happened to."

Sharon added that she and husband Ozzy would be there for Kelly to offer support if needed.

"Unfortunately for her, she's going to have her heart broken. You pick yourself up, and you start again. She's very, very sad right now, but she'll get over it. We all do," she explained.

"At the end of the day, she's learned a lot, and she can still pick up the phone to us. We've not gone anywhere. We're there."

Kelly recently admitted that she is not dealing well with the split.
