Jesse James: 'I hit rock bottom'

Jesse James reportedly admitted that he had hit "rock bottom" in court on Wednesday during a custody trial with ex-wife Janine Lindemulder.

According to People, Sandra Bullock's ex talked about his struggle with alcoholism and said that he was abused as a child and "pretty much raised myself".

Lindemulder's lawyer asked the West Coast Choppers star if he recently hit rock bottom. James responded: "Yes. To some degree."

He claimed that he is seeking treatment for his various issues and problems.

James testified that he became an alcoholic at the age of 14 or 15 and said that the shame of the abuse by his father drove him to cheat on Bullock.
