Ronson 'wants Lohan to get better'

Samantha Ronson has reportedly been spending time with ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan in hopes of helping her to "get better".

The DJ, who recently admitted that she still loves Lohan, hopes to inspire the 24-year-old to become sober by being a positive influence in her life.

"Sam wanted to distance herself from Lindsay when they split up. But Sam never stopped caring. She genuinely cares about Lindsay and just wants to see her get better," a source told People.

"She gets it, she knows what Lindsay is going through and she knows she needs good people around her helping her down the right path."

Lohan, who was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation earlier this month, recently entered a rehab programme in the hope of reducing or eliminating her time behind bars.
