The model, who is moving out of her home for six weeks while building work is carried out, reportedly wants to yacht around the coast of Africa, but Hince wants to sail the Mediterranean because of concerns about Somali pirates. They also plan to take up Sir Philip Green's offer of staying in his Sicilian villa.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Builders are coming in next month to sort out Kate's basement which was destroyed during a weekend of flooding a couple of months ago.
"Sir Philip has kindly offered them the use of his villa which they've taken him up on, and they'll be chilling there for a week. He has also given them use of his 200ft, £20 million yacht, the Lion Heart, which they are both really thrilled about.
"But while Jamie wants to sail leisurely around the Med, or stay put at the villa, Kate is adamant they go exploring off the coast off Africa. It is causing real tension. Jamie is convinced the yacht will be a beacon for trouble - he fears they'll be a target for Somali pirates.
"Kate keeps telling him to stop being ridiculous and seize the day, but the last thing Jamie wants is to be stumping up a hostage fee to reclaim his girlfriend. Storms are definitely a-brewing."
