The 40-year-old Australian television star, whose sister is movie star Nicole, said that she is excited for her new husband Craig Marran to have his first child.
Kidman told Who magazine: "It's something we wanted, as Craig doesn't have any children. It's a beautiful thing that I wanted to go through with him and it's a unique journey for us and for the children, too. Craig is over the moon."
The star already has 11-year-old Lucia, 9-year-old Hamish, 7-year-old James and 3-year-old Sybella with ex-husband Angus Hawley.
