Doherty confused by Kate Moss hype

Pete Doherty has admitted that he cannot understand the hype surrounding his on/off girlfriend Kate Moss.

The Babyshambles frontman is baffled that people seem to be "obsessed" with the model.

"A lot of people are basically obsessed with the missus, and I don't know really," Doherty is quoted by The Mirror as saying. "She's just a bird from South London. I can't get my head round it really."

Moss was forced to apologise yesterday over claims that she has been taking drugs, after losing modelling contracts with H&M, Burberry, Chanel and H Stern.
