Freeman was one of 20 bikers who rode from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The team stopped to take part in various community projects along the way, including building a fence at an AIDS centre.
Mandela's admirers spent 67 minutes of their time doing good deeds to mark the 67 years the leader spent in politics.
The former South African President celebrated his 92nd birthday on Sunday.
According to WENN, the actor said: "I take it as my connection to Madiba (Mandela). We should do it everyday… We’re trying to head for a world where there’s peace and where we can teach our children about [the] integrity of this vision."
Freeman played Mandela in Invictus.
