Amanda Redman splits from lover

Amanda Redman has split from her toyboy lover.

The actress has parted from Adam Rayner, who played her gardener and screen lover on At Home With The Braithwaites, after 18 months together.

"Amanda is no longer with Adam," a friend told the Sunday Mirror. "She is very down about it all and she is really upset as she had high hopes for the relationship. But she will bounce back eventually. Amanda is such an attractive person - she won't be short of admirers."

In an interview, Redman recently heaped praise on Rayner, who is almost twenty years younger than her.

"If you are with someone you like, age doesn't matter," she said at the time. "I'm very happy."

Adam confirmed, "It's been over for a while. But we're still friends."
