Mariah Carey's poker win

Mariah Carey won $27,000 (£15,000) playing poker in Las Vegas last Friday.

The singer joined the likes of Usher, Nelly and Janet Jackson for producer Jermaine Dupri's birthday bash at the opening of the Tao restaurant at the city's Venetian Hotel.

Visting a nearby casino Carey walked away with her booty after just three rounds of the game, though she admits her success may not have been all down to skill.

Contactmusic.com quote her as saying: "I used to play poker with my sister. But I think my low-cut dress put some of the guys off."
