The actress surrendered herself yesterday in Los Angeles to begin her time at the Century Regional Detention Facility, though it was later revealed that she will serve only two weeks behind bars.
However, in an appearance on Larry King Live, Michael's attorney Lisa Bloom revealed that Michael felt that Lindsay's lawyers mishandled the case.
"She could have won an appeal perhaps, I saw some grounds for an appeal, but attorneys could differ on that," she said.
"No-one has [lodged an appeal]. And Michael offered to pay for the appeal through me. He's offered to pay for it. He's offered to do anything possible to help his daughter."
Lindsay recently insisted that she wants Michael out of her life.
