Ronson visits Lohan in prison

Samantha Ronson has visited Lindsay Lohan in jail.

The Mean Girls actress, who split from DJ Ronson last year, is currently serving a minimum two-week sentence in a Californian prison for violating her probation following her DUI charge.

According to Us Magazine, 24-year-old Ronson was met by Lohan's mother Dina and sister Ali before the visit.

Ronson recently jumped to her ex-girlfriend's defence when comedian Joan Rivers joked about her incarceration, saying: "Pick on someone your own age. Oh wait, I guess people that old can't hear."
