Heather Mills pushes for Lopez boycott

Published Sunday, Oct 2 2005, 10:01 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
Heather Mills McCartney has launched an attack against supermodels Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell, labelling them "hypocrites" for wearing fur.

The former model has warned the trio, along with singer Jennifer Lopez, that they will have to "live with their consciences before reaping their rewards for their actions in this and future lives".

"Cindy Crawford famously supported PETA's 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur' campaign, but has now sold her soul to the fur trade, as have Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell," Heather is quoted by the Sunday Mirror as saying.

"These are models who were fully informed of the cruelty involved when they joined in the campaign against fur, but who then decided to take the money and rejoin the industry that murders animals. Do they really need that cash? Are they broke? Do they live in a shed?"

Turning her attentions to Lopez, Heather added, "Boycott her films, perfume and clothes as well as her music until she decides to give it up."
