Actor Carl Gordon dies, aged 78

Actor Carl Gordon has died at the age of 78.
The stage and TV actor passed away after battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, reports The New York Times.
Gordon was known for playing Andrew Emerson on the 1990s Fox sitcom Roc, which starred Charles S Dutton as a Baltimore garbage collector.
The actor also appeared on the TV shows ER, Law and Order and The Practice.
He is survived by a son, five daughters and wife Jacqueline Alston-Gordon.
