Chan, who stars alongside Smith in the remake of The Karate Kid, admitted that he would like to take the 12-year old to China to perfect his martial arts skills.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "After the movie I tell his parents, 'Let him stay in China for three months'.
"Trust me. I will take care of him. I'm sure with three months' training he can get much better, because he has this kind of talent. Whatever I teach him he learns right away. Besides, he can sing, he can dance, he can rap. He just has talent.
"I tell Will Smith, 'Can I adopt your son?' That's how much I love him. He's the young Jackie Chan."
The Karate Kid is released in the UK on July 28.
