McFly 'amazed' by Elton John home

McFly have expressed their love of Sir Elton John's luxury home.

The All About You hitmakers recently took a tour of the US mansion that John shares with husband David Furnish and were taken aback by the lavish decorations and fixtures within.

"My favourite part was his candle room," lead singer Danny Jones told Attitude. "It was like a big cupboard thing - and he had candles in every room, and it smelled amazing. So clean!"

He continued: "His place is full of art, it's like a museum. Vases! He collects vases and there's not enough room on the table to put your drink down."

Dougie Poynter, the band's drummer, revealed that although he enjoyed exploring John's house, he remained constantly terrified that he would break something irreplaceable.

"He had a statue that was from 200 BC or something, you know, the really old Greek-style things?" Poynter explained. "The people from The Lion King bought one to say thank you for all the songs. I could quite easily just have knocked it over."
