Boy George has been arrested in New York City on suspicion of cocaine possession.
The singer apparently reported a burglary at his apartment in the early hours of Friday morning. Reuters quotes a NYPD spokesperson as saying that the singer was found in a "drugged stupor" when officers arrived. The officers, the spokesperson added, found a small quantity of cocaine next to the star's computer.
It is understood that in addition to a drug possession charge, Boy George will also be charged with making a false report due to his earlier burglary call.
