Nick Jonas 'very sad to leave London'

Nick Jonas has said that he is "very sad" to be leaving London following his stint on the West End.

The youngest Jonas Brother arrived in the British capital last month to star as Marius Pontmercy in Les Miserables. He later extended his stay in the city by a further two weeks.

Writing on his Twitter account today, he said: "On my way to the airport. I'm very sad to be leaving London, but I know its time to start a new chapter...

"To all my new friends... I'm gonna miss you all very much. Thanks for the memories. I love you all."

The teenager was spotted at a party to mark his final appearance in the production last night attended by castmates including former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones and actress Samantha Bark.
