Renee visits journalist over Rice claims

Renee Zellweger was so furious over a newspaper report about her love life that she visited the journalist in question to give him a piece of her mind.

The Bridget Jones actress was unimpressed after reading the New York Post's claims that she is dating singer Damien Rice. She called the reporter in question and then arranged an appointment to discuss the matter further.

Zellweger denied any plans to rekindle her romance with Rice, informing the journalist, "[It was] hurtful. It wasn't true. It made me look slutty."

Renee split from husband Kenny Chesney last month.
