Rooney 'gives Jedward his mobile number'

Wayne Rooney reportedly invited Irish twins Jedward to party with him and friends on a night out.

The X Factor pair saw the footballer at a London hotel when John Grimes approached the Manchester United star for an autograph, reports The Sun

"The boys were staying in the Mayfair Hotel on Sunday and Rooney was there with his manager. They got talking and ended up hanging out all night," a source said.

"The boys were just drinking water, though. Their album is out today and they were in the mood for a party."

Rooney offered the 'All The Small Things' singers the use of his box at Old Trafford. Jedward returned the favour by promising him a cameo in their new ITV2 show.

"Wayne invited them to use his box at Old Trafford any time they want it," the source told the paper.

"It could be a dangerous offer - they might be there every week!"

They added: "John and Edward were showing him some dance moves too. Wayne gave them his mobile number and was really good with the boys. He chatted to them all night."

Earlier this year the twins revealed that Rooney's cousin had legally changed his middle name to Jedward.
