Michelle Heaton 'marries in Bahamas'

Michelle Heaton has confirmed that she has married partner Hugh Hanley in the Bahamas.

The former Liberty X star announced her engagement to Hanley earlier this year. The pair began dating in 2008 after Heaton split from first husband Andy Scott-Lee.

She told OK: "Hugh and I had the wedding of our dreams and it was just perfect.

"As soon as I started walking towards Hugh I could see he had tears in his eyes and that totally started me off."

However, the 31-year-old revealed that strong winds almost ruined the big day.

"A little bit of Hugh's snot was blown onto the priest during a particularly sniffly bit of the ceremony!" she said.

The couple are apparently planning a celebration for family and friends when they return to Ireland.
