The actor was 14 years old when he joined the group in 1987 and has since decided to help up-and-coming performers to achieve their dreams.
"The National Youth Music Theatre has a very special place in my affections," he explained.
"I've many fond memories of my time spent with the company and I'm thrilled to be supporting them and the next generation of theatremakers, particularly with NYMT's exciting plans for the future."
Law recently won an injunction against ex-wife Sadie Frost which prevented her from discussing their relationship in her upcoming memoir.
