Chris Tucker 'owes $11 million tax bill'

Chris Tucker owes more than $11m (£7m) in back taxes, it has been reported.

According to TMZ, the Internal Revenue Service claims that the Rush Hour star fell behind on his tax payments from 2001 through 2006, resulting in a $11,571,909.26 (£7,426,203) bill.

The state of California also previously field a lien against Tucker for allegedly not taking care of his $3,594,409 (£2,306,690) state tax bill.

Tucker, who earned $20m (£12.8m) for Rush Hour 2 and $25m (£16m) for Rush Hour 3, is yet to respond to the report.
