Underwood: 'Marriage is perfection'

Carrie Underwood has revealed that she is very happy to be married.

The 27-year-old singer, who married hockey player Mike Fisher earlier this month, said that being a wife does not feel that different to being a girlfriend.

Underwood wrote on her fansite earlier this week: "I'm a married lady now! Married life is pretty much like dating life. My husband is back in Canada... story of my life!

"I know how blessed I am. I know how special these things are. There is nothing in the world that I could possibly ask for because you can't add to perfection!"

Fisher also told the Ottawa Sun: "The whole weekend is almost like a blur. The ceremony was really nice, the pastor did a great job, the reception was a lot of fun.

"Just to have everyone close to us around was a big deal. A wedding's not nearly as much fun without those close family and friends with you."
