Kelly Brook 'always wanted to do Playboy'

Kelly Brook has officially confirmed that she is to appear in Playboy.

Speaking to Fox411, the model claimed that she always wanted to feature in the magazine.

Brook confirmed reports of the shoot and said: "It's coming out in September and I can't say too much about it, but it's something that I've always wanted to be a part of.

"I love Playboy, I think it's such an iconic brand, It's kind of up there with Coca-Cola in terms of global awareness."

She added: "I got to work with Ellen Von Unwerth, who's one of my favourite photographers, and we just got to play and produce an amazing photoshoot that I know that when I'm old and grey I can look back on and go, 'Oh my God, that was me when people were interested in seeing me scantily clad!'."

Asked her parents' opinion of her decision to strip off for the magazine, Brook quipped: "Oh God, they're so used to it now. I think they get more shocked if I put my clothes on for something!"

Brook could reportedly lose her position as the face and body of underwear brand Ultimo as a result of her Playboy photoshoot.
