The American Pie actor recently entered Cirque Lodge in Utah following his second arrest on a DUI charge.
"Chris, along with his support team, has decided to extend his treatment. He is doing fantastic and is optimistic about his future. He thanks everyone for their continued support," the star's representative Jaime Primak told People.
Klein was arrested on June 16 in Los Angeles after police saw him weaving westbound on the Hollywood Freeway. His blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit of .08, officials said.
