The singer was apparently spotted feeding animals in a zoo beside the mystery gentleman.
A source told The Sun: "Leona and her new friend looked like they were having a great time at the zoo.
"They seemed very relaxed together and couldn't stop smiling as they wondered around looking at different animals - the perfect date for an animal lover like Leona."
Lewis split from her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa last month.
