Divas to headline Royal Variety Performance

Shirley Bassey and Charlotte Church aren't exactly the best of friends. Earlier this year, Bassey told the Daily Telegraph that Church was a binge drinker, saying as well that "she needs to take a long rest...she has made a very bad choice moving into rock music."

Unsurprisingly, Church was not impressed, and proceeded to call Bassey "wrinkly," responding to Bassey's insults by expressing the view that "she has a cheek - she's always drinking champagne...shut up."

Now, however, they will be forced to co-exist for an evening, as both have been asked to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in November. They're not the only stars to perform, though: others will include McFly, Will Young, Katherine Jenkins and Bryn Terfel.
