A former in-law of famous pop star Janet Jackson has claimed that his brother, who was married to Jackson between 1984 and 1985, fathered a daughter with her, who would now be in her late teens.
Young DeBarge, speaking to radio station Hot 97, says that the child, whom he calls Renee, is now 18 years old and lives with Jackson's elder sister Rebbie. He says that the family "kept everything real close...no one really knew...until things kind of surfaced."
Jackson's spokeswoman, Patti Webster, says that the singer will not be commenting on the allegations.
