Well known actors Ewan McGregor and Sienna Miller have been named best actress and best actor by lastminute.com. More than 16,000 theatregoers voted.
Miller gained her award for her rendition of Celia in Shakespeare’s As You Like It and McGregor for his appearance in Guys and Dolls. Miller said she was “thrilled??? to have won, and that she intends to “return next year.???
In other awards, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and The Lion King were respectively voted best play and best musical, with the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious song and dance performance in Mary Poppins receiving an award for ‘best moment.’
