Finch gives advice to beauty queen

Rachael Finch has been spending lots of time with this year's Miss Universe Australia finalist Jesinta Campbell.

The Australian model, who has appeared in Celebrity MasterChef and Dancing With The Stars since winning the title last year, has offered Campbell some much-needed support in the build-up to the international final later this month.

Finch told the Herald Sun: "She is actually a very good friend of mine. I was helping her through her questions, with what to wear, to how to prepare for the competition mentally and physically.

"My advice to her is to just be herself, have a good time, enjoy every day, and don't take anything for granted.

"They are not looking for the girl who looks beautiful and is perfect from head to toe, and makes the perfect turn at the end of the catwalk. It is about the little flaws and the little imperfections that make a person interesting."
