Rap star DMX will go to jail for 40 days having pled guilty to breaking the terms of a previous sentence.
Late in 2004, he was convicted of trying to steal a car at JFK International Airport, a bizarre occurrence which also involved drugs and weapons offences.
Although he admitted guilt in that case, DMX was released, but only on condition that he stay away from further trouble.
But recently DMX has committed two further driving-related offences, and again has pleaded guilty to them.
This time he will receive a jail sentence, and will probably serve about 40 days, according to his lawyer.
He remains "in good spirits,??? says his attorney.
