Trachtenberg 'tired of being called fat'

Michelle Trachtenberg has expressed her frustration at being called "fat" in the press.

The Gossip Girl actress blasted the media's obsession with weight, saying that focusing on her size was setting a bad example for young girls, reports Pop eater.

"Look at me. Tell me, where am I fat?" she asked.

"It isn’t even about me, it’s about the message it sends to normal girls."

She added: "Some girl in Middle America is gonna pick up [a tabloid] and say, ‘Oh Michelle is my favourite actress and they think she’s fat, what does that say about me?’"
