Katie Price 'hoping for baby boost'

Katie Price is reportedly hoping that having another baby will give her career a boost.

According to the Daily Star, the former glamour model believes that having her first child with new husband Alex Reid will generate more media interest in her.

"Kate knows that babies mean big money and she hopes it will bring more publicity opportunities, like the high-profile interviews she's had in the past," said a source.

"Kate has been feeling pretty low recently after a lack of serious work offers. She has been the butt of lots of criticism in recent weeks. She's a tough cookie and can take a lot of it, but of course it gets to her - she's only human.

"She might have secured a mega-money deal for her new [Living] show but she fears viewing figures will plummet as it's on a pay-per-view channel."

The insider added: "She and Alex are desperate to cling on to their fame and this is the obvious next step. It worked for her and Peter Andre, they made millions from selling their family life."

Price and Reid are apparently considering adoption if they fail to conceive before the end of the year. The reality TV star already has three children, Harvey, Junior and Princess, from relationships with Dwight Yorke and Andre.
