Harry Potter star Radcliffe had been spotted with the woman on various occasions over the last few weeks and they recently celebrated his 21st birthday together in Russia.
The Daily Mail claims that she is Olive Uniacke, the 19-year-old stepdaughter of David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter films.
A source told the paper that the pair have known each other for a long time and had been close before but the relationship had run its course.
"Olive has money in her own right so is certainly not a gold-digger," the insider said.
"But Dan's not traditionally her type. She has usually gone for bad boys and Dan is quite preppy."
Uniacke apparently grew close to Radcliffe again after working as a set PA on the final Potter movie Deathly Hallows.
"Olive is a lovely young lady and she and Dan have been close for a long time," a colleague said. "She was always in and out of his dressing room during filming and she has always been really protective over him."
