Betty White jokes about Trammell nudity

Betty White has voiced her appreciation for True Blood star Sam Trammell after seeing a clip from the show.

The actress was appearing on The Tonight Show when Jay Leno introduced fellow guest Trammell with a scene that featured his character transforming from a dog into a naked human.

"Oh, I wish I had a dog who could do that!" quipped White.

Trammell then said, '"I'm so sorry you had to see that... That was awful", prompting the 88-year-old to respond: "Oh, I loved it!"

White - who currently stars on TV Land's Hot In Cleveland - also revealed that she recently received a present from fellow Emmy nominee Tina Fey.

"We're both up for the same thing - hosting Saturday Night Live - and she will get it. But do you know what this class lady did? I came home from work one day and there was this beautiful bowl of roses and lillies," she said.

"It was gorgeous and [there was a note that] said, 'Dear Betty, congratulations on your nomination. Please try to mention my name in your acceptance speech. Love Tina Fey'."
