Cox 'relaunched TV career while pregnant'

Sara Cox has joked about her television appearances while pregnant.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ, who gave birth to her third child in March, told Star magazine that she loves doing TV work.

"I kinda relaunched my TV career when I was massively pregnant, which isn’t the normal way of doing things," she said.

"A unique approach to one’s career! I did Angela And Friends during the day, and This Morning. I especially love live TV. I’m hoping to do more."

Cox also admitted that she is "useless" at meeting up with her friend Zoë Ball.

"We're both rubbish at seeing each other," she said. "I haven’t seen Nelly [Ball's daughter] and she’s yet to meet Renee [Cox's daughter]. We did have a date booked in to swap babies, drink tea and gossip, but I messed it up. We’re both useless but I do love her."

She added: "She’s just one of those friends I never get to see."
